Born, bred, and pastured in Los Angeles, Eric has been an artist since the age of 4... when it was discovered he could draw trees better than anyone else in pre-school! He eventually moved on from trees and began drawing comics.
By the age of 15, Eric had already established and distributed a panel comic called Ardie Bird, and a superhero-action book series called Watubee. Throughout his life, he has attended a variety of art courses and schools, including Pasadena Art Center College of Design. You might even catch his name in the Spongebob movie credits.....
Eric's love of gay activism bloomed at the age of 18. He has joined and facilitated LGBT youth groups such as Rainbow Youth Alliance and CITY Project L.A. He's also volunteered with L.A. Shanti, Christopher Street West, and the City of West Hollywood.

Last Updated December 24th, 2008
I started professional work in 1991 with my full-page cartoon feature "The Adventures of Bumpkin Buzz" in the Comics Buyer's Guide.
By 1996, I was also working with Wizard Entertainment on their superhero calendar poster series and have since worked with Wizard on a number of humor pieces, scavenger hunt puzzles, and contributed to their other publications, including Inquest Gamer, Toyfare, Sci Fi Invasion and a variety of special editions.
I am currently fortunate enough to be working with Randall Kirby, a brilliantly talented and hilariously funny writer/cartoonist from Oregon, on his four-issue Adventure-Humor creation Disco Ninja. More fun cannot be had.
My greatest love is superhero comics, and I must admit I'm growing a bit weary of the revolving door editorial staffing at the Big Two and am becoming winded trying to keep up with which trends are in vogue so my latest pitches can appeal to whomever's in charge at the moment.
Thus, I've [More...] |

Diego Gómez

Last Updated December 24th, 2008
Tenderloin Socialite turned Pop Whore, Illustrator, designer, homo, a lot can be said about Diego Gómez, but usually not to his face, unless you've got a gun and you're not afraid to use it! After graduating from San Francisco's fabulous Art Institute, Diego hired a squad of death-trannies to help him rise to power as the Lord of the Tenderloin. Perched atop his royal toilet Diego spews fourth whimsical imagery chock full of gratuitous breasts, counterintuitive fairy tales, and plenty of awkward moments of silence. Thanks to his mad skills and a verbocity that could cut a bitch like a Lee Press-On Nail, Diego is adored by all, except for the people who hate him. If the wailing sirens on the SF fire department don't rob him of his hearing, surely his loud outfits will! But fear not evil doers - at the ripe & juicy age of 27, he's only getting younger by the day & sassier by the moment!
Diego has upcoming work in Glamazonia as a penciler, inker, colorist & letterer & has lettered [More...] |

Theo Bain

Last Updated December 19th, 2008
Gosh! Re-reading my profile, I find it's terribly out of date, so here's an update.
My name is Theo Bain, also known as Shemmy.
After a rocky end to 2007, my life changed dramatically in January 2008 when I moved, newly single, to Brighton, to work as a concept artist for a video games company. Those changes also brought about sadly the end of updates to BritDoodz.com, though the site is still up for people to see,and its MySpace gets updated as often as I am able.
Despite now working in an industry not famed for its cartoon naked men, I still find time to illustrate a problem page in a monthly gay sexual health magazine here in the UK.
I am planning to hold an exhibition in late 2009 of my erotic cartoon men and will keep you posted. [More...] |

Rachel Dukes

Last Updated December 15th, 2008
Born three months premature on June 6th 1985, Rachel Dukes came into the world full of curiosity and determination. From the age of three, she showed interest and talent in the fields of the arts. (Her preferred mediums at the time were wax-based crayons and washable marker.) In the first grade, she drew her first comic strips and proudly proclaimed to her teacher that she would like to do comics when she grew up. At the age of ten she was approached by the LA Times to do a syndicated comic strip, but turned their offer down because she was ten and didn’t know any better.
Rachel started doing her first online comic, Fanfare, in her Junior year of High School, and started a strict regimen of drawing for four hours a day. Her art improved in leaps and bounds over the two years she created the comic.
Still intent on doing comics, but needing to stay on the West coast for studies, Rachel enrolled at The Art Institute of California San Diego in January 2004. In Fall 2006, Rachel [More...] |

Chuck McKinney

Last Updated November 25th, 2008
I've been a comic book fan since seventh grade. I became a comic book creator by accident.
I spent 10 years acting in New York City. I studied with the great Fred Kareman, and I worked quite a bit. I even wrote, produced, and starred in a one man show, Up, Up & Away!, based on my lifelong passion for comics. As an actor, I almost always had a side job to make ends meet. A few years ago, I ended up bartending in a local gay bar. By this writing, I have bartended in several gay bars. These days, I do occasional voice-over acting, but most of my creative energy goes to my comic strip, From The Cellar.
Inspired by my front seat view of New York City Gay Nightlife, I created From The Cellar on a whim. It kinda took over from there. Many talented artists have participated, and I can't wait to publish it as a Graphic Novel when it's finished. From The Cellar's mix of fiction and fact baffles even me, so I find it hard to describe my comic; but I'm very proud [More...] |

Mark Padilla

Last Updated November 17th, 2008
Mark Padilla's mother knew he was going to grow up to become a fabulous gay comic artist when he began drawing pictures of Lynda Carter on his Huggies. The 1970's television show Wonder Woman inspired an early love for comics, drawing and camp. By age 20, he had drawn enough pictures of Wonder Woman and collected enough comics to wallpaper a colosseum, so he packed up his things and moved away from the SoCal desert and on to the flaming gay city of San Francisco in search fine art/animation training and a more artistically stimulating atmosphere and started drawing cocks constantly instead.
Influences including a myriad of horror & sci-fi movies and animation such as Hanna Barbera, Sailor Moon, Capcom, Disney, She-Ra, and of course Marvel and DC comics, Mark Padilla and his co-creator Husband Johnny Nolen are responsible for the creation of the Gravity Faggot universe.
Planet Gay XXX-Press is the current gay/erotic comic novella from GravityFaggot.com and is available for [More...] |

I am a comic book creator out of San Francisco and I have just started my own small comic book publishing company called Slumberland Press.
I am a writer and a fledgling artist, who writes a lot and every so often gets a wild hair, and try to draw one of my scripts… and it’s not pretty. So I am much more comfortable working with artists. I have two projects that I am currently working on.
The first is called The Foxhunters, and it is set in ancient Japan and follows the lives of three individuals who are hell bend on eliminating foxes who, in Japanese mythology, were known to wreak havoc with the lives of common folk.
The second one is titled Hansel and Gretel: Agents of the Coven, and it is the continuing story of those lovable scamps who burnt up a witch. In this story they are older and part of a group called The Coven, who police witches in a strange and magical world.
I have tons of other scripts that are setting [More...] |
